Cotehele Quay

Cotehele Quay is on the River Tamar and was once a busy transit and freight quay, market gardeners sent their wares to Plymouth from here and no doubt the local mines will have also used it. The quay and area in general is dotted with lime kilns. The lime would have been used in agriculture30
